A Much Respected Website Member Passed Away

It is with sadness that I must share that Robert Moors (Hipshot1) died of a heart attack a few days ago. I was informed of the sad occurrence by his son Scott.

A number of categories in this Blog section have been created on Robert's request - particularly the "Bullet Behaviour" sections and the "Shot Placement" category which is under construction.

Robert and I met on another shooters' forum - and what set him apart from the majority of posters was his impeccably good manners and always clear employment of the English language - but mostly his questions that immediately cut to the heart of the matter under discussion. He rarely offered opinion but his focused questions to "influencers" regularly showed where non-facts or shallow beliefs or egos were behind many affirmative posts.

We never met in person but have been in discussions and planning for him coming on a short photo safari and a budget hunt. Now that will not happen and I am a poorer human being for not having had the honour to meet a man of this calibre of character.

My condolences to his family.
